HollieHello, my name is Hollie, and I qualified as a yoga teacher in 2020 after completing my 500-hour diploma with the BWY (British Wheel of Yoga). However, yoga has been a part of

my life since 2007, when I first began my journey in discovering this new way of life. I vividly remember the feeling during and after that very first class, as if it were only yesterday. I walked in as a complete novice without a real understanding of what yoga was about. The realisation of how disconnected I was from my body and the gratitude I felt towards my first yoga teacher for giving me the opportunity to 're-discover' and feel a deep sense of connection was profound. It was a life-changing moment, and through life's twists and turns, I developed a strong desire to gain my qualification and share this beautiful ancient practice.

One of the ways I have heard yoga described is as 'a sense of coming home,' and this resonates deeply with me even today, years later. This is why I feel so passionate about sharing this beautiful, ancient practice with others.

I have also had the privilege of supporting children with ASD, ADHD, Down Syndrome, and other special educational needs, accumulating over 7 years of experience. I undertook a course with Special Yoga to deepen my understanding and learn how to further integrate it into my work. I have witnessed how these mind-body-breathing practices have had a positive impact on the children's overall well-being, reinforcing the importance of bringing these practices into educational settings and ensuring these therapeutic teachings are inclusive for all.

I am thrilled to join KidspireOT and offer yoga and mindfulness teachings to children & families.
