I am an organized, friendly and confident individual who persistently works to the best of my ability. I have always been highly motivated in developing my knowledge within the field of mental health and provide the best service to clients.

I have a BSc in Psychology, and recently attended RBT (Registered Behavioural Technician) training. I have over 6 years’ experience working in the field of autism involving voluntary work, teaching assistant role and later progressing to Occupational Therapy Assistant at a specialist Autism and SEN school for children between the ages of 7 - 19 years. In 2019, an ‘OT cafe’ project which I have worked closely since the beginning, won a national award at the TES Independent Schools Awards in ‘Special needs initiative of the year’. Later the same project won ‘School catering’ award at the Education Business Awards 2019.

My work includes implementation of OT and ABA (home and school programmes) sessions using play-based activities to focus on handwriting, academic skills, self-care, listening and attention, language and communication, play and social skills, gross motor and fine motor skills under supervision. I have experience in application of ABA principles such as NET, DTT and VB under the respective consultant. Recently, I attended a Yoga for complex needs course with IMT yoga which has been beneficial to my hands-on work with the kids. I am also currently studying for a level 3 diploma in Play Therapy. The work I do with children allows me to be creative and resourceful maximising motivation in learning which I find extremely rewarding.

In my free time I enjoy cooking, looking after my dog and socialising with my friends and family.
